I’m thrilled to introduce a new feature that many of you have been eagerly waiting for: the ability to schedule Facebook Reel posts using HighLevel. With Facebook pages gaining more reach than ever, this is the perfect time to start scheduling your Reels. Let’s dive into the step-by-step process to make the most of this exciting feature.
Step-by-Step Guide to Connect Your Facebook Page
First, you need to connect your Facebook page to HighLevel:
- Navigate to Marketing:
- Go to the Marketing section in your HighLevel dashboard.
- Click on Social Planner at the top.
- Connect Your Facebook Page:
- Click on Add Account and select the Facebook icon.
- Continue as yourself, and authorize HighLevel to access your Facebook pages.
- Select the page where you are an admin, click Add, and you’re connected!
Creating and Scheduling Your Facebook Reel
Now that your Facebook page is connected, let’s create and schedule a Reel:
- Create a New Post:
- Go to the top right corner and click Create New Post.
- In the social scheduler, select your connected Facebook page from the drop-down menu.
- Choose Reel at the top.
- Compose Your Reel:
- Type your content in the text box. For example, “This is a demo reel.”
- Click on the video icon to upload your Reel. Select Upload File and choose your video.
- Wait for the progress bar to show the upload is complete.
Final Touches and Scheduling the Post
To optimize your Reel, you can add a follow-up comment and more:
- Add a Follow-Up Comment:
- Utilize the follow-up comment feature to include a link. This improves visibility and reach by avoiding links in the description.
- For example, add a link like
example.com
in the follow-up comment section.
- Customize Your Post:
- You can choose to apply a watermark, select a category, and add tags. For this demo, we’ll leave these options empty.
- Schedule Your Post:
- Click on Schedule Post, select the date and time, and hit Schedule Post.
Viewing Your Scheduled Post on Facebook
Once scheduled, you can view your post on your Facebook page:
- Check Your Facebook Page:
- Go to your Facebook page to see how the post appears.
- Click on the comments to see the follow-up comment with your link.
Important Notes and Conclusion
Keep in mind that this feature is currently available only for Facebook pages. If you select a Facebook group instead, your post will appear as a regular post in the group feed.
