Postponement of Contest 14
I had to delete Contest 14, even though there were already entries from Ray and Martin. Apologies for the inconvenience, but the updates we’re incorporating are worth the wait.
New Features in Conversational AI
1. Thumbs Up/Down Feedback for Responses
We’ve just introduced the ability to train the AI on the fly with thumbs up and thumbs down feedback. Here’s how it works:
- Live Training: You can now provide immediate feedback on AI responses, helping to refine and improve its accuracy in real time.
- Example: I tested this feature on my buddy’s brewery website. When I asked how many beers they have on tap, the AI correctly responded with “14 beers on tap.” If it had been incorrect, I could have given it a thumbs down and provided the right answer, training it instantly.
2. Enhanced Booking Features and UI Changes
Starting next Monday, we’re rolling out significant UI updates and improvements to the booking features:
- Decoupling Booking from Main Settings: The booking functionality will be moved from the main settings to a new training section.
- FAQ Mode by Default: Out of the box, the AI will function as an FAQ bot. You can activate booking features separately.
- Customizable Booking Options: Once booking is activated, you can choose between sending a booking link or having the AI book appointments conversationally based on calendar availability.
