This update caters to both groups, providing an intuitive setup for beginners and extensive customization options for advanced users.

Simplified Conversational AI Setup

For those who prefer a straightforward approach, HighLevel’s Conversational AI can be up and running in no time. The basic setup involves turning on the AI, providing a website URL for the bot to scan and train on, and you’re done. This simplicity ensures that anyone can deploy an effective conversational bot quickly and easily.

Advanced Customization with Intents and Prompts

Recognizing the needs of more advanced users, we’ve introduced a powerful new feature: customizable prompts for specific intents. This means you can fine-tune the personality and instructions of your bots to provide a tailored and personalized conversational experience.

Key Features of Customizable Prompts

  1. Intent-Specific Prompts: Customize the bot’s responses based on the context of the conversation. For instance, if the bot’s intent is to book an appointment, you can edit its personality to match your brand’s tone—be it formal, friendly, or even sarcastic.

  1. Navigate to the Conversational AI Section: Within your HighLevel dashboard, go to the Conversational AI section.
  2. Access the Configure Intents Tab: Here, you’ll find two types of intents—Supportive and General, and Appointment Booking.
  3. Edit Prompts: Click on the “Edit Prompt” button to open the edit modal. You can then customize the bot’s name, goals, and additional instructions. Use custom values to enhance the bot’s responses with dynamic content.
  4. Select Templates: Choose from the predefined templates to get started, or reset to default if needed.

For example, you can set up a bot to handle appointment bookings with a friendly and persuasive tone, guiding users smoothly through the process. Alternatively, an informal support bot can be created to handle general inquiries with a casual and approachable manner.
