GoHighLevel for Shopify

the process of integrating GoHighLevel with Shopify, a journey that wasn’t as straightforward as I initially thought. Despite the available Shopify integration, getting orders from GoHighLevel to Shopify isn’t as simple as it sounds. But don’t worry, I’ve figured out a workaround and I’m here to share it with you.

Why GoHighLevel for E-commerce?

GoHighLevel is a powerful platform that allows you to automate and manage various aspects of your sales and marketing processes. However, the current Shopify integration doesn’t directly support sending orders from GoHighLevel funnels to Shopify for fulfillment. This limitation can be frustrating, but with a bit of creativity and the use of Zapier, you can bridge this gap.

Step-by-Step Guide to Integrating GoHighLevel with Shopify

1. Setup in GoHighLevel

  • Create a Workflow in GoHighLevel:
    • Go to Automations in GoHighLevel.
    • Create a new workflow.
    • Set the trigger to “Order Submitted” from your specific order form.
    • Add an action to update the contact fields with necessary information (Email, First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, Postal Code).
    • Create an opportunity in your designated pipeline (e.g., “Shopify Pipeline”) and set the stage to “Services Sold”.
    • Add an internal notification action to notify you of new sales.

2. Configuring Zapier

  • Create a New Zap in Zapier:
    • Step 1: LeadConnector Trigger
      • Search for and select the LeadConnector app.
      • Set the trigger event to “Pipeline Stage Changed”.
      • Connect your LeadConnector account using your GoHighLevel API key.
      • Choose the pipeline and stage (e.g., “Services Sold”).
      • Test the trigger to ensure it pulls real data from a recent order.
    • Step 2: Shopify Action
      • Search for and select the Shopify app.
      • Set the action event to “Create Order”.
      • Connect your Shopify account.
      • Map the fields from LeadConnector to Shopify (Email, First Name, Last Name, Address, Product, etc.).
      • Ensure you set the financial status to “Paid” and fulfillment status to “None”.
      • Test the action to verify it creates an order in Shopify correctly.

3. Running and Testing

  • Test Your Setup:
    • Run a test purchase through your GoHighLevel funnel to ensure the workflow and Zapier integration work seamlessly.
    • Check that the order appears correctly in Shopify with all the necessary details.

Caveats and Future Improvements

  • Current Limitations:
    • This setup currently supports single product offers. Handling multiple products, one-time offers (OTOs), or product variants requires additional configurations.
    • I’m working on using the platform “Make” to create more sophisticated automations and will update you on that soon.
  • Future Goals:
    • Simplify the integration process for multi-product orders and OTOs.
    • Provide more comprehensive solutions and video tutorials as I refine these processes.

Conclusion

Transitioning from ClickFunnels to GoHighLevel for managing E-commerce sales, especially with a Shopify store, requires a bit of ingenuity. By following the steps outlined above, you can effectively bridge the gap between GoHighLevel and Shopify using Zapier. This integration allows you to streamline your sales process and focus more on growing your business rather than managing multiple platforms.
