HighLevel Funnels On WordPress Websites

Integrating HighLevel funnel pages directly onto your WordPress website just got easier with the latest update to the Lead Connector plugin. Previously, HighLevel funnels were typically set up on subdomains, creating URLs like subdomain.yourclientswebsite.com. However, with this new update, you can now place HighLevel funnels directly within the root domain, creating cleaner and more professional URLs, such as yourclientswebsite.com/funnelpage. This guide will walk you through the process of setting this up, making your funnel integration seamless and efficient.

Step-by-Step Guide to Integrating HighLevel Funnels on WordPress

Step 1: Install the Lead Connector Plugin

First, log into your WordPress website. Navigate to the Plugins tab on the left-hand sidebar and click Add New. In the search bar, type Lead Connector. Once you find it, click Install Now and then Activate the plugin.

Step 2: Configure Lead Connector Plugin Settings

After activation, a new tab called Lead Connector will appear in the left-hand menu. Click on it to open the plugin’s settings.

Next, you need to get your API key from your HighLevel account:

  1. Log into your HighLevel sub-account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Navigate to the Company tab.
  4. Scroll down to find your API key and copy it.

Return to your WordPress site, paste the API key into the Lead Connector plugin settings, and hit Save.

Step 3: Set Up Your HighLevel Funnel on WordPress

Now that the plugin is configured, you can start integrating your HighLevel funnel into your WordPress site.

  1. In the WordPress admin panel, go to Lead Connector > Funnels.
  2. Click Add New to start setting up your funnel.
  3. Choose the funnel you want to integrate from the dropdown menu. For this example, let’s say we select a funnel named LinkTree.

Step 4: Select Funnel Page and Display Method

You need to choose a specific step from the funnel. If your funnel has multiple steps, select the appropriate one. In this example, we’ll assume there’s only one step.

Next, decide how you want the funnel to be displayed:

  • Embed Full Page iFrame: This option will embed the funnel page directly onto your WordPress site.
  • Redirect to Funnel: This option will redirect visitors to the HighLevel funnel.

For a seamless user experience, choose Embed Full Page iFrame.

Step 5: Set Up the Funnel Page URL

Assign a slug to your funnel page. This is the part of the URL that will follow your main domain. For instance, if you choose links as your slug, the URL will be yourclientswebsite.com/links.

You can preview this setup to ensure everything looks correct.

Step 6: Save and View Your Funnel Page

After configuring everything, click Save Page. You can now view your funnel page by clicking View. The funnel page should load at the URL you specified (e.g., yourclientswebsite.com/links), displaying the HighLevel funnel directly on your WordPress site.

Benefits of Integrating HighLevel Funnels with WordPress

  • Cleaner URLs: Embedding funnels within the root domain results in professional and concise URLs, which can improve user trust and click-through rates.
  • Streamlined Process: The integration is straightforward and quick, allowing you to manage your marketing funnels directly from your main website.
  • Enhanced User Experience: Keeping users within the same domain provides a seamless browsing experience, reducing confusion and potential drop-offs.

With this update, HighLevel continues to enhance its compatibility with WordPress, making it easier for marketers to leverage powerful funnel tools without compromising on website aesthetics or user experience.
