Welcome to this week’s HighLevel how-to session! Today, we’ll be exploring a practical solution for businesses, particularly restaurants, to manage in-store offer redemptions effectively. By setting up a streamlined system within HighLevel, you can automate the redemption process, making it easier for both staff and customers. Let’s dive into the details and get your redemption system up and running.
Step 1: Creating the Campaign
The first step involves setting up a campaign in HighLevel that will handle the offer redemption process. This campaign will consist of several email templates guiding the customer through the steps to redeem their offer.
1.1 Starting a New Campaign
- Navigate to the Campaigns section in HighLevel.
- Click on Create New Campaign and name it Offer Claim – How to Redeem.
1.2 Setting Up the Initial Email
Create an initial email template that will be sent to customers upon claiming an offer.
- Subject: Thanks for Claiming Our Free Appetizer! Here’s How to Redeem
- Body:
- Greet the customer using their first name.
- Clearly explain the redemption process.
- Include a link that the customer will click when they are at the restaurant to confirm their redemption.
Step 2: Adding Additional Campaigns
To ensure a smooth redemption process, we need to create two additional campaigns: one for approved redemptions and another for denied redemptions.
2.1 Offer Redemption Approved
Create an email template for when a customer’s redemption is approved.
- Subject: Your Offer Redemption is Approved!
- Body:
- Confirm the redemption.
- Include a timestamp to validate the redemption.
2.2 Offer Redemption Denied
Create an email template for when a redemption attempt is denied.
- Subject: Offer Redemption Denied
- Body:
- Inform the customer that the offer has already been redeemed.
- Provide a brief explanation if needed.
Step 3: Building the Redemption Process
3.1 Creating a Form
Set up a form for customers to submit their offer claim. This form will collect basic information and trigger the redemption process.
3.2 Setting Up Triggers
Create triggers to automate the process based on form submissions and link clicks.
- Trigger 1: When the form is submitted, add the customer to the Offer Claim – How to Redeem campaign and tag them with Offer Not Yet Redeemed.
- Trigger 2: Create a trigger link that the customer will click when they are in the restaurant.
3.3 Using Trigger Links
Use trigger links to determine whether a redemption is approved or denied.
- Trigger Link: When clicked, it checks if the customer has the Offer Not Yet Redeemed tag.
- If the tag is present, the customer is added to the approved campaign.
- If the tag is not present, the customer is added to the denied campaign.
Step 4: Testing the System
4.1 Testing Form Submission
Submit the form to verify that you receive the initial email.
4.2 Testing Redemption Links
Click the redemption link to ensure you receive the appropriate approval or denial email based on your tag status.
Conclusion
By implementing this simple system, businesses can efficiently manage in-store offer redemptions without overwhelming staff. This automated process allows customers to redeem offers seamlessly, while businesses can track redemptions effortlessly. While HighLevel will soon offer more advanced features like unique coupon codes, this current setup provides an effective interim solution.
