How to Clone and Personalize Templates in HighLevel Template Library

In today’s post, we’re going to dive into an exciting new feature in HighLevel: cloning templates. This feature, available in the SAS Pro account, allows you to easily clone and edit templates you’ve previously created. This can save you a lot of time and effort, especially when managing multiple websites or funnels. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Creating a Template

Before we can clone a template, we need to have one created. Here’s a quick walkthrough:

  1. Navigate to Your Account: Log into your HighLevel SAS Pro account and head to the “Sites” tab on the left-hand side.
  2. Select a Website or Funnel: Choose the website or funnel you want to copy. Click on the three dots next to it and select “Upload to Funnel Templates.”
  3. Name and Categorize Your Template: Provide a name and select a category for your template. Once done, click “Upload.”
  4. Edit Template Details: On the next screen, you can edit additional details such as the cover image, tags, types, and a description for the template.
  5. Publish the Template: Once you’ve entered all the necessary information, click “Publish Template” and then confirm.

Now, you have a template that is ready to be cloned.

Step 2: Cloning the Template

With your template created and published, it’s time to clone it. Here’s how:

  1. Access the Template Library: From the agency level in your HighLevel account, navigate to the “Template Library.”
  2. Clone the Template: Hover over the template you want to clone. Click on the three dots that appear and select “Clone Template.”
  3. Confirm the Clone: Click “Confirm” to clone the template. This action will create a copy of your original template.
  4. Edit the Cloned Template: You can now edit the cloned template without affecting the original. Make any necessary changes to the details and descriptions.
  5. Publish the Cloned Template: After making your edits, select “Publish” to finalize your cloned template.

Benefits of Cloning Templates

Cloning templates in HighLevel provides several benefits:

  • Efficiency: Save time by reusing and modifying existing templates rather than starting from scratch.
  • Consistency: Ensure brand consistency across multiple projects by using standardized templates.
  • Flexibility: Make changes to cloned templates without impacting the original, allowing for customization and experimentation.
