How To Track Form Submissions in HighLevel

Hey High Levelers! Today, we’re going to dive into an essential feature of Go High Level: tracking form submissions. Whether you’re managing leads from a webinar, workshop, or your website, keeping track of form submissions is crucial. We’ll cover how to filter by date or name, search through submissions, view detailed responses, and correlate them with contact information. Let’s get started!

Viewing Form Submissions

First things first, to see your form submissions in Go High Level, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Sites: On the left sidebar of your dashboard, click on “Sites.”
  2. Go to Forms: Under the “Forms” section, select “Submissions.”

This will bring you to a screen displaying all your form submissions.

Filtering Form Submissions

On the left-hand side, you’ll find a dropdown menu to filter submissions by different forms. If you have multiple forms in Go High Level, you can select the one you want to view. You can also filter submissions from lead forms or widget forms. If your Facebook page is connected, all leads from Facebook will also be displayed here, which is a pretty cool feature.

Date Filtering

On the right side of the screen, you have options to filter submissions by date. You can choose from preset date ranges such as the last seven days, last week, or this month. For custom date ranges, simply select the dates you want, click “Confirm,” and the data will be filtered accordingly.

Searching Through Submissions

If you have a large number of leads, scrolling through them manually can be daunting. Thankfully, Go High Level makes this easy with a search function. You can search by name, email, phone number, or any other contact information. This makes finding specific submissions quick and effortless.

Viewing Submission Details

Clicking on any submission entry will display detailed information on the right side of the screen. Here’s what you’ll see:

  1. Form Data: This includes fields like name, phone number, email, and whether terms and conditions were accepted.
  2. Page Details: This includes tracking information such as the source, event IDs, and UTM parameters.

Importance of UTM Parameters

Accurately setting up UTM parameters in your campaigns can provide valuable insights. For example, if you’re a chiropractor running multiple ads, you can track which ad or creative is converting the most leads. This data is invaluable for optimizing your campaigns.

Exporting Form Data

Need to export your form data? No problem. Here’s how:

  1. Select Entries: Click the checkbox next to the entries you want to export. You can select all entries or just a few.
  2. Click Export: After selecting the entries, click on “Export.” Go High Level will compile the data and send you a CSV file via email within 60 seconds.

The CSV file will include all the fields from your form and the corresponding responses, allowing you to analyze the data offline.

Correlating Form Submissions with Contact Details

When you click on the avatar of a person who submitted a form, you’ll be taken to the contacts dashboard. Here, you can see additional details such as the source of the submission, the pages they visited, and more. This comprehensive view helps you understand your leads better and track their journey through your funnel.

Conclusion

Tracking form submissions in Go High Level is straightforward and incredibly useful. You can filter, search, and export data efficiently, ensuring you have all the information you need to optimize your campaigns and manage your leads effectively.
