Welcome to our quick guide on creating and integrating blogs within your website and funnels using HighLevel. In this step-by-step guide, we’ll walk you through the process to ensure your blog content is seamlessly incorporated into your digital strategy.
Step 1: Access Your HighLevel Account
First, ensure you’re logged into your HighLevel account or location where you want to post your blog. This is essential for integrating your blog into the right sections of your website or funnels.
Step 2: Navigate to the Blog Section
Go to the Sites tab and look for the Blogs section in HighLevel. This is where you’ll manage your blog posts. Click on New Post to start creating a new blog entry.
Step 3: Create a New Blog Post
You’ll be prompted to enter a title and upload a cover image. Ensure you have a suitable image ready in your media files. For this example, let’s title the blog “How to Move On from a Heartbreak”. Add alternate text, such as “how to move on”, and a brief post description (between 100 to 250 characters) that summarizes the blog’s content.
Step 4: Edit Your Blog Content
Once you’ve created the post, you’ll be taken to an editing page where you can add various elements:
- Text: Write your main content, including introductions, lists, and conclusions.
- Media: Add pictures, videos, and audio to enrich your content.
- Interactive Elements: Insert quotes, emojis, and more to make your blog engaging.
After editing, click Save to secure your changes.
Step 5: Categorize Your Blog
Next, you’ll need to assign a category to your blog. If you haven’t created a category yet, you can add a new one. For instance, you might categorize this blog under “Self-Love”. Add relevant keywords such as “life,” “moving on,” “self-love,” to improve searchability.
Step 6: Set Author and Publish Options
Select an author from the dropdown menu or add a new author if needed. Decide on the blog status:
- Draft: Save the blog for future editing.
- Publish: Make the blog live immediately.
- Schedule: Set a specific date and time for the blog to be published.
For this tutorial, we’ll choose to publish the blog immediately.
Step 7: Integrate the Blog into Funnels
To display your blog in a funnel, go to the Funnels section and select the funnel where you want the blog post to appear. Edit the page within the funnel and wait for it to load.
Step 8: Add Blog Elements
Add a new element or area to your funnel page. You can choose between:
- Blog Post List: Displays a list of all available blog posts.
- Category Navigation: Shows blog posts sorted by category.
Select Blog Post List and configure the settings under General and Blog Settings. Choose the display type (standard or compact) and select the categories you want to include. For example, you might select “Self-Love” to display relevant posts.
Step 9: Customize and Save
Under Pagination, set how many blog posts you want to display per page. Once you’ve configured everything, click Save.
Step 10: Preview Your Blog
Preview the funnel page to ensure your blog posts are displayed correctly. Your blog content should now be integrated seamlessly into your website and funnel using HighLevel.
By following these steps, you can efficiently create and integrate blogs into your website and funnels with HighLevel, enhancing your content strategy and engaging your audience effectively.
